How We Work

Ramaiah International Centre for Public Health Innovations (RICPHI) intends to foster partnerships and collectively work to achieve the following objectives:

To pursue applied research in the field of Public Health, in order to understand distribution and determinants of chronic ill-health in populations primarily within India and in low- and middle-income countries.

To explore, innovate and appropriate solutions for chronic disease problems affecting underserved communities and in resource poor settings

To scale up appropriate, affordable, sustainable and successful solutions to chronic diseases that affect large populations

To collaborate with local authorities, state and national governments, non-governmental organizations, private sector players and advocacy groups in collectively addressing large scale health problems of national priority

To train budding health professionals with most up-to-date tools of assessing public health problems and finding their solutions via short term and long-term educational programs
