Dr. Ananth Ram

Assistant Professor, Community Medicine at M.S. Ramaiah College, Bengaluru

Is an alumnus of MIMS Mandya and NLSIU, Bengaluru. He joined the department of Community Medicine as faculty in 2018 after completing his Post-Graduation from CMC Vellore.

Dr. Ananth’s dissertation was an intervention study on a community based physical activity programme. However, he has a varied portfolio of studies to his credit in the areas of domestic violence, dengue, STDs, heat related illnesses, pre-geriatric visual impairment, urinary incontinence and depression to name a few.

His areas of interest include NCD prevention by risk modification, operations research, bioethics, social determinants of health and adolescent health.

Dr. Ananth has also been part of various workshops in the field of community medicine.

Shailee Shah

Administrative Officer, Ramaiah International Centre for Public Health Innovations (RICPHI)

Is an M.B.A in Human Resource Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University, U.S.A with experience of over 8 years in H.R. policies, procedures and project management across healthcare, information technology and development sectors. She also holds a keen interest in web designing and content development and has successfully helped develop and launch websites for projects commissioned by global organizations like Public Health Institute, U.S.A. Her areas of interest include NCDs, adolescent health and nutrition for which she has co-created and developed an adolescent friendly mobile application as well.

Mridula Kapil Bhargava

Data Management Officer, Ramaiah International Centre for Public Health Innovations (RICPHI)

Is a public health professional with an International MPH from Hebrew University’s Haddasah Braun School of Public Health and Community Health. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in biotechnology and nano-biotechnology respectively. She has a special interest in working on non-communicable disease related research and interventions and has an experience of over 4 years in NCDs and adolescent health related projects, screening camps, initiatives and education.

There are quite a few accolades to her name, the most noteworthy of them being amongst the top 50 leaders in Novartis Leadership camp 2013, being the cover-girl of “The Week” magazine and securing a place among the top 50 innovators in the INTEL-DST Digital India challenge 2015. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Bakken Invitation award in 2017-18 in Hawaii and has recently completed her REEBOK fitness instructor’s certification.
