Prof. Sundaresh D. C. serves as the Pro-Vice Chancellor at the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bangalore. He was instrumental in conceptualization and establishment of an Advanced Learning Centre (ALC), a state of the art skill training centre for health professionals at RUAS. A well-known Orthopedic Surgeon with more than 35 years of experience, Dr. Sundaresh is a member of Pediatric Orthopedic society of India, Indian Arthroscopy Association and Asia Pacific Arthro-plasty Society. Since 1990, he has been leading rural health care activities, which include Polio surgical rehabilitation camps where disabilities related to Polio & other neuro-muscular conditions are screened & surgical correction of deformities is being carried out. Recently, under his leadership, RUAS has launched a Master of Public Health programme.
